A new fresh expression of the Salvation Army has been birthed from the corps at Mirfield in Yorkshire. The corps has in recent months connected with a number of Hungarian people. The appointed Pioneer Leader started his full time job in June 2017. Czako Csaba met with the Salvation Army whilst in his home in Hungary and became a soldier whilst there. When moving with his family to the UK he looked for the Salvation Army to link up to. Much to his surprise he found himself gathering a number of people together who were on a journey of exploration and faith. The corps officers and corps folk, welcomed, embraced and encouraged this new work. The Fresh Expression meets and gathers people from right across the various different communities which neighbour onto Mirfield. Even in these early days the work flourishes and reaches out to a number of people who are united by their Roma and Hungarian roots.
